Good morning,
Effective June 20, Emergency Rule 4 that established the COVID-19 temporary bail schedule that set presumptive bail at $0 for people accused of lower-level crimes, a measure to curb the spread of COVID-19 in jails and surrounding communities, is being repealed.
The Riverside Superior Court is considering two versions of a proposed 4th Temporary Emergency Felony and Misdemeanor Bail Schedule, only one of which will be adopted by the court:
Your comments are welcomed and will be considered as part of the adoption process for the revised schedule. I apologize for the short turnaround, however time is of the essence.
