Good morning all,
We just received the following message from the court. RCCDBA will be advocating on behalf of the membership to keep the current $0.00 bail schedule in place. However, we encourage you to voice your opinions as well.
Please send comments to:

The following is sent on behalf of Presiding Judge John W. Vineyard
Effective June 20, Emergency Rule 4 that established the COVID-19 temporary bail schedule that set presumptive bail at $0 for people accused of lower-level crimes, a measure to curb the spread of COVID-19 in jails and surrounding communities, is being repealed.
The Riverside Superior Court is considering two versions of a proposed 4th Temporary Emergency Felony and Misdemeanor Bail Schedule, only one of which will be adopted by the court:
- Version One – 4th Temporary Emergency Bail Schedule which was modified from the original Temporary Emergency Felony and Misdemeanor Bail Schedule adopted by on March 27, 2020. Changes are noted in red.
- Version Two – 4th Temporary Emergency Bail Schedule was modified from the 3rd Temporary Emergency Felony and Misdemeanor Bail Schedule approved as corrected on April 21, 2020. Changes are noted in red.
Your comments are welcomed and will be considered as part of the adoption process for the revised schedule. I apologize for the short turnaround, however time is of the essence.
Please provide any comments by 3:00 p.m. today.
Thank you in advance for your time,
Chief Deputy of Operations
